opening sequence of batman begins

In the opening sequence you are presented with a black canvas that has burst of light in the background, this connotes that against the dark and empty soul of the blackness that there is little burst of hope in life, the light effect that was a naturalistic as the burst of light can be represent as lightening and pitch blackness of clouds in the night.
The theory of binary opposites of lonely vs being fulfilled in life. As the blackness represent emptiness, that nothing is there left to hold on too and the burst of light can be shown as life is there something to hold on too. This adds tension as you can never trust with what’s happen, it indices the audience to find out more.

The credits have started by this point. In the first credit a faded in and stays in focus for a couple of seconds then fades out, this connotes that when you first think you have something that it can go in a blink of an eye. All of the credits have all been insert then a cutaway, the main point that i would have to pick that the where the credits have been placed, i think the editing put this for a purpose because the rule of thirds has been you’d to please the eye.

Expansion of time has also been used for every credit. As the credit is insert the time expansion is speeded up and when the fade out is used the expansion of time has slowed back down to normal pas. I think the semantic code could have been used because the way the credits have be protrude as some lurking in the shades.

The sound track that goes with the film starts of slowly and eerie and as the first credit starts to fade in the music starts to become louder and the pas of music is at a faster repetition. This builds tension and it gives the audience a bit of excitement.  Also synchronous sound has been use to go along with the natural lightening, as the burst of lights the connation of power as the music becomes louder and burst of lights coming thought the darkness.

The only cinematography that was used was an establishing shot to give an expression on what the film going to be about, sets up the narrative to the film. Then it moves into a tracking shot to give the expression that you are been taking into the film and you are a part of the film too as you see it though your own eyes.

I believe that the enigma code was used in the title sequence at the ever end you have a zoom of fly bats coming toward the camera . The connotation is that it adds mystery to the audience and makes the guessing in till the final scenes when all is revealed and all loose end have been tide off.  Over all this a good opening sequence because it make the audience wanting to find out more.
